Lavesé
Introduction
Short walk, with no particular height difference, in the woods of Saint-Denis. Lavesé is a mayen restored according to green building techniques and intended for educational and tourist accommodation activities.
Description
Take the snowy track following the signs to the final destination, Lavesé. One enters the forest proceeding slightly and steadily uphill; from time to time there are interesting views of the central valley and in particular of Mont Emilius. After walking for about 20 minutes, you come to a barrier: go around it and continue straight on. The forest begins to thin out and we enter the beautiful clearing that precedes our destination. We make a wide bend to the right until we come to the crossroads for the new children's climbing wall 'Le Paradis des Enfants'. The destination is close by and clearly visible, continue on the slightly downhill track and finally reach Lavesé (1550m, 0h30'),
The return journey follows the same route as on the outward journey.
