Description
To Pejo 3000 you arrive using two lifts: the cable car takes you up to 2000 m and then the cable car, which has been in operation since 2011, up to 3000 m. You take the signpost that descends to the right from the lift. the first section is very steep! You can see that some people avoid it, taking the ski slope directly. In the distance, Lake della Mite stands out. The walk is not particularly demanding and the panorama is great, with views of Monte Vioz and the Brenta Group. Fortunately, a number of bridges have been built to simplify the crossing of the Vioz stream. We cross a junction for those who want to climb to the Vioz hut (challenging!). With a long series of hairpin bends, you lose altitude... until you see the Doss dei Cembri refuge, 2315 m (2h). Skirt the small lake and at the end, turn right. We face a fast descent on very comfortable terrain to Rif. Scoiattolo 2000 m in just 30' (break before resuming the descent)
In summary: a day with an acceptable time difference in altitude - 1000 m Dif. E for about 2h30 Tot + all the breaks to see the various places that we encounter
