Description

A quiet walk to get rid of the lactic acid from the ascent to Tomeo and Sfille. Rita, Danila and I set off from the Ritom dam along the forest road to Cadagno di Fuori. Coffee stop at Canvetto, then all the way round Cadagno and up to the stables. We take the forest road again to the Cadagno hut, and immediately afterwards turn left. The ascent to Lago di Dentro begins. As we rise, the peaks of the Vallmaggia appear behind the chain that separates the Leventina from it. In clear view is the Basodino with its glacier. At Lago di Dentro we have a picnic, and I study the ascent (T3) to Bocchetta Miniera, the only one still missing in this area. We return by the same route to Canvetto, with a 'cake' stop at the Cadagno hut. Then we descend to Ritom, and take the new didactic path that passes on the other side, through a beautiful larch forest, arriving again at the dam. Full description of the hike with photos and text.
