Description

On leaving the forest, there is Malga Fierollo di sotto on our right and to the left we go through the Val di Rava, beautiful and wild and crossed by the Gallina brook: marker 365. At the little bridge over the stream, climb northwards along trail marker 332. Now the valley is majestic, you skirt the ruins of the Malga Rava di sotto and then further on to the left the beautiful Malga Ravetta di sopra. Further on, skirting and admiring the beautiful valley along the military path until you come to marker 366, which, turning right, climbs steeply to Malga Rava di Sopra (2030m). At the summit, the place is truly isolated and wild but beautiful, and a little further on, nestled among the volcanic porphyry, is the beautiful Lago Primo. To sit on its shores is to enjoy this corner of infinity, the sky, the clouds that seem to generate from the lake over there on the horizon, and the silence. You return by the same path.
