.Description
From the locality of Acquasanta di Marola, follow the marked path up to Campiglia. This is the old direct route, built at the end of the 19th century and still perfectly preserved. In about 75', you are in Campiglia (400 m), from where you can enjoy a splendid view. From the village, head eastwards on the former No. 1 road, immediately passing an old renovated windmill. Some passages are a little tricky and make walking along this stretch tiring and slow. After about 1h, there is a beautiful viewpoint where you can take a break... You lose altitude until you cross an asphalt road several times. You then regain a few metres, carefully following the vertical signs that always direct you towards your destination. Continue as far as the junction for the Muzzerone refuge, a refreshment stop with a view of the island of Palmaria... After a brief stop, turn back at the last junction for the final descent to Portovenere (1h 40). Then by bus back to Acquasanta di Marola (2 journeys every hour - 15' trip - E 2,5 costs 03.19) where the car waits.
All in all: Beautiful day disl 450 mt Dif. E. about 4h Tot. + all the breaks to see the various places you encounter
