Mont Zerbion

Introduction

A pyramidal peak with a very iconographic silhouette divides Valtournenche from Val d'Ayas and the central valley. It consists of four excursion accesses that do not involve any particular difficulty. On its summit is a large statue of the Madonna under which, every year on 29 July, a mass is held for the Feast of the Madonna of the Zerbion, a moment of communion between many inhabitants of the three municipalities that share the peak: Ayas, Châtillon, Saint-Vincent.
