La Cialma

Introduction

La Cialma, also known as Punta Cia, is only of interest to hikers thanks to its pleasant views of the Gran Paradiso area and the Lanzo Valleys. Its gentle slopes make it easily accessible in both summer and winter, especially from the eastern slope starting from the Carrello locality. On this slope are the remains of the 'ancient' ski-lifts, partly dismantled and partly put back into use in the seasons with heavy snowfall. Given the ease of reaching the summit on its slopes, there are no shelters or bivouacs.
