Introduction
Cheneil is a charming Alpine village located in the municipality of Valtournenche, in the Aosta Valley, a region renowned for its natural beauty and age-old traditions. The inhabitants, though few in number, keep alive the traditions of yesteryear, still practising livestock farming and the production of cheeses such as fontina, a PDO product of the Aosta Valley. Well-marked trails lead to spectacular panoramas, including the Grand Tournalin and Becca d'Aran, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding Alps.
